Religious Affairs

Kandara Technical and Vocational College provides pastoral and spiritual support to the college community by nurturing the faith of students and staff from various Christian denominations and guiding them in making meaningful spiritual decisions.

Through the recognized Christian student fellowships and societies within the institution, the college promotes preventive and proactive student welfare programs, supports the development of Christian service and mission opportunities, and facilitates the coordination of inclusive, engaging, and spiritually enriching worship services and assemblies.

These activities are coordinated under the guidance of appointed patrons, with Madam Mirriam Wangari currently serving as one of the patrons supporting the spiritual programs within the college.

Christian Union Group

The Kandara Technical and Vocational College Christian Union (CU) is one of the active student societies within the institution. Over the years, the union has experienced steady growth, becoming a spiritual home for many students.

Through its outreach within and beyond the college, the Christian Union has positively impacted the lives of many young people by guiding them in their spiritual journey and nurturing strong moral values.

We express our sincere gratitude to God for His continued presence and guidance within the institution.

The current Partron Madam Mirriam Wangari.

Young Catholic Student's Society

The Young Catholic Students (YCS) Society is a student-based organization whose main objective is to promote the Christian faith in accordance with the traditions of the Catholic Church, the teachings of the Holy Bible, and the spiritual guidance of duly ordained clergy.

At Kandara Technical and Vocational College (TVC), the YCS operates under the pastoral care of the Father-in-Charge of the local Catholic Parish within the relevant Deanery under the Archdiocese of Nairobi. The parish priest provides chaplaincy services to the YCS members and the wider Catholic community within the institution.

The leadership and activities of YCS at Kandara TVC fall under the Office of the Dean of Students. A patron, appointed by the College Principal, oversees and coordinates the society’s activities while serving as a key link between the YCS, the college administration, and the Office of the Dean of Students.
