Productivity and Innovation at Kandara TVC
At Kandara Technical and Vocational College, we take pride in not only imparting skills but also translating them into real-world productivity. As part of our commitment to hands-on training and entrepreneurship, our trainees and departments engage in practical production activities that support both learning and community development.
1. Yogurt Production
Our Food and Beverage department is actively involved in the processing and packaging of high-quality yogurt. This initiative equips students with essential dairy processing skills while promoting food safety and entrepreneurship. The yogurt is produced using modern methods and is available for sale to the community, offering both nutritional value and income-generating opportunities.
2. Embroidery and Textile Branding
Our Fashion and Design trainees specialize in embroidery and textile branding. From school crests and logos to custom designs, the department delivers quality embroidery services to both internal and external clients. This provides students with real market experience while promoting the college’s capacity to meet industry standards in creative arts and fashion.
3. College T-Shirt Branding
As part of our branding and promotional efforts, Kandara TVC produces branded T-shirts, hoodies, and uniforms for students and staff. This initiative not only enhances the college identity but also offers practical training in heat press, vinyl cutting, and digital printing techniques under the guidance of experienced trainers.
4. Cabro Block Making
Our Building and Civil Engineering department produces cabro blocks used in paving and landscaping projects. Trainees gain practical construction and masonry skills by participating in every stage of production—from mixing and molding to curing and laying. These blocks are used within the college and sold to external clients, promoting sustainable income for the institution.
At Kandara TVC, we believe in learning by doing. Our productivity activities are designed to reinforce classroom knowledge with practical skills that foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and job readiness. We continue to explore more avenues that empower our trainees to create, build, and lead in their respective industries.
